The Teixons are endearing, simple characters who roam the towns with their ducks, their most precious possession, hoping to sell their wares. Their unsuccessful attempts at trading add a note of humour: they are naive and tender beings, going through their daily lives with a mixture of carefree spirit and determination.
When the markets come alive with colourful characters: a great sausage and cured-sausage seller, jovial but absent-minded, proudly wears his apron and his hanging wares. At his side, a lively, bossy and always rushed market gardener draws in customers with a confident voice, while the butcher, a bit of a dreamer, follows her with comic devotion. Not far away, a basket seller, naive and candid, smiles at anyone willing to listen, while a flower seller, grumpy and grumbling, mutters against the din of the market.
Together, they follow their mischievous and clumsy ducks, which constantly try to escape their fate during the festival, spreading chaos and laughter in their wake.
Thanks to the antics of the waterfowl, the Teixons know how to build a close, friendly bond with the spectators they meet.
It is with poetry, comedy and humour that they roam through their century and the places that serve as the settings for their story.
