ONE-OFF THEMATIC EVENT

Themed events

The Théâtre de l’Alauda can create any event “made to order”, staging entertainment or theatre shows, particularly in the field of living history.

From the Gallo-Roman era to the 19th century, including the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the company creates all kinds of cultural events in a town of character, a castle or any historic site, while favouring the friendly, interactive spirit that is essential to the success of this type of event.

At a time when volunteering tends to disappear, our company can act as a relay and relieve volunteers of administrative worries and tedious formalities.

We can also provide event organisers with our equipment (sound, lighting, sets, stage structures) and our salaried staff (professional freelancers in the performing arts).

A specialist in creating historical events, from the smallest to the largest, Jean-Louis Roqueplan, director and actor, who has headed the company for more than 30 years, has more than 30 major events to his credit, including The Renaissance Festivals of the Roi de l’Oiseau in Le Puy-en-Velay or Sous le regard de Molière in Pézénas.

Artistic study and consultancy

Acting as a consultancy, the company can put its skills in designing a cultural product at the service of any local authority. From the search for an artistic charter to the writing of the entire project, it can step in at different stages of the development process. It can also, on request, design and produce decorative visual elements.
