ASDOBELD, THE FLAMING KNIGHT

Three “comediante” in search of an audience and success decide to stage the chapters of a book of chivalry.
A show in which we see a knight, a close cousin of Don Quixote, take on the entire imaginary world of the medieval age.

A troubadour, immersed in a chivalric romance, decides to become a knight and sets out on an epic quest, accompanied by his comrade the squire.
Under the names of Asdobeld and Tartarassa, they set off in search of a romantic love and, to win it, face trials worthy of the greatest heroes of medieval history. The Song of Roland, Don Quixote and the Knights of the Round Table inspire our two heroes. Not forgetting an uncommon princess, this burlesque trio recreates the master–servant relationship which, since antiquity, has been a comic device of the theatre.

A comic and burlesque show, with little dialogue and highly visual.
